Provide strategic leadership in shaping and governing procurement standards, policies, and processes across the organisation. This role is accountable for driving operational excellence, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, and embedding global best practices in procurement. The Executive Director oversees procurement governance, vendor management frameworks, and reporting systems, ensuring that procurement delivers transparency, efficiency, and strategic value across all projects.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience: Extensive senior leadership experience in procurement, vendor management, or commercial analysis for large-scale organizations.
Skills: Strategic sourcing, executive governance, stakeholder engagement, and procurement process optimisation.

Responsibilities

- Define and implement procurement governance policies, procedures, and frameworks to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Oversee the development of standardised procurement tools, templates, and reporting systems.
- Lead cross-functional engagement to align procurement processes with organisational and project requirements.
- Provide executive-level oversight of procurement reporting and performance monitoring, enabling data-driven decision-making.
- Benchmark global procurement best practices and integrate them into organisational policies.
- Mentor and guide senior procurement leaders to build organisational capability in strategic sourcing and vendor management.
- Represent the organisation in executive discussions with regulators, suppliers, and strategic partners.
- Drive risk management and executive-level decision-making in procurement and sourcing strategies.
