Provide strategic leadership and governance across vendor management, sourcing strategy, and market intelligence functions. This role ensures supply chain activities support organizational goals, maintain compliance, and drive value creation across procurement and tender operations. The Executive Director leads supplier evaluation frameworks, market analysis initiatives, and vendor development programs to ensure resilience, competitiveness, and alignment with business objectives.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience: Extensive senior leadership experience in procurement, vendor governance, or supply chain operations.
Skills: Executive leadership, strategic sourcing, vendor governance, and risk management.

Responsibilities

- Define and oversee supply chain management policies, governance standards, and vendor performance frameworks.
- Provide executive oversight for vendor registration, qualification, and compliance monitoring.
- Lead the development of sourcing and category management strategies based on market intelligence.
- Guide commercial evaluations of suppliers to ensure competitiveness, performance, and risk management.
- Maintain governance of the approved vendor list, ensuring suppliers meet organisational and regulatory standards.
- Oversee supplier performance reviews and drive supplier development or replacement strategies.
- Represent the organisation in executive discussions with regulators, suppliers, and strategic partners.
- Mentor and develop senior supply chain staff, building organisational capability in strategic sourcing.
