Job Description

Provide strategic leadership and governance across the full development lifecycle of major projects. This role is accountable for ensuring that development concepts are successfully translated into executable projects, aligned with organisational objectives, regulatory requirements, and master plans. The Executive Director leads coordination across architecture, engineering, finance, and delivery teams, while ensuring that all projects achieve world-class standards in readiness, feasibility, and execution.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience: Extensive leadership experience in project development, engineering coordination, or large-scale construction pre-planning.
Skills: Executive leadership, governance, stakeholder management, and strategic risk planning.

Responsibilities

- Define and oversee project development governance frameworks, standards, and policies.
- Provide executive leadership in shaping development concepts into actionable project plans.
- Ensure alignment of development strategies with organisational objectives and long-term master plans.
- Lead cross-functional engagement with design, engineering, permitting, finance, and delivery teams.
- Oversee readiness tracking across design, permitting, budget confirmation, and mobilisation activities.
- Approve key development documentation, including risk registers, phasing plans, and execution packages.
- Mentor and guide senior project development managers to build organisational expertise.
- Represent the organisation in high-level forums and discussions with stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Drive executive decision-making on risks, resource allocation, and project readiness milestones.
