Director of Engineering Design Review (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil & Environmental)

Provide strategic leadership and oversight of multidisciplinary engineering design across capital development projects. This role ensures that engineering outputs meet global quality standards, regulatory requirements, and organisational objectives while aligning with architectural intent and master plans. Oversees senior engineers and consultants, drives integration across disciplines, and leads stakeholder engagement to deliver world-class, sustainable, and technically feasible solutions.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering (Master’s preferred).
Experience: Extensive senior leadership experience in engineering design review or multidisciplinary design management for capital projects.
Skills: Executive leadership, technical governance, stakeholder engagement, and integration of multidisciplinary design solutions.

- Define and oversee engineering design review policies, frameworks, and quality standards across civil, structural, MEP, and infrastructure disciplines.
- Provide executive leadership in managing multidisciplinary engineering reviews from concept through detailed design.
- Ensure integration of engineering solutions with architectural intent, urban plans, and sustainability objectives.
- Oversee external consultants and internal teams to ensure delivery of compliant and innovative engineering designs.
- Evaluate and approve technical submissions, ensuring feasibility, constructibility, and infrastructure capacity.
- Lead engagement with government authorities, stakeholders, and strategic partners to align design with regulatory requirements.
- Mentor senior engineers and build organisational capability in technical leadership and engineering governance.
- Drive executive decision-making on risk, design optimisation, and technical challenges.
- Represent the organisation in technical forums, promoting excellence, sustainability, and innovation.
