Provide strategic oversight of the design management function, ensuring that all design deliverables meet organizational objectives, quality standards, and deadlines. This role is accountable for leading internal design teams, managing senior consultants, and aligning architectural and engineering solutions with the overall vision and master plans. The Executive Director plays a key role in stakeholder engagement, governance, and decision-making, ensuring that large-scale development projects achieve world-class outcomes in functionality, design excellence, and sustainability.

Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Experience: Extensive executive leadership experience in design management, engineering coordination, or capital project delivery.
Skills: Proven expertise in governance, stakeholder engagement, and multi-disciplinary project oversight.

Responsibilities
- Define and oversee design management policies, processes, and frameworks for major development projects.
- Provide executive leadership and guidance to internal teams and external consultants.
- Ensure that design documentation, schedules, and deliverables comply with organisational and regulatory standards.
- Oversee design workshops, stakeholder meetings, and executive reviews to align project outcomes with strategic objectives.
- Evaluate and approve design submissions, ensuring compliance with master plans, quality requirements, and sustainability goals.
- Drive risk management and executive-level decision-making in design planning and execution.
- Mentor senior architects and design managers, building organisational capacity and expertise in design leadership.
- Represent the organisation in executive discussions with government bodies, regulators, and strategic partners.
