Provide strategic leadership over all claims, variations, and contractual negotiations across major projects. This role ensures robust governance of claims processes, protects the organization’s commercial interests, and drives efficient dispute resolution. The Executive Director works closely with legal, commercial, and project leadership teams, ensuring timely and compliant resolution of claims while enhancing the organisation’s claims management capability.

Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Law, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or Construction Management (Master’s preferred).
Experience: Extensive leadership experience in claims management, contract administration, and commercial management for large-scale infrastructure projects.
Skills: Executive leadership, commercial negotiation, risk management, and dispute resolution.

Responsibilities
- Define and oversee claims management frameworks, policies, and governance standards.
- Provide executive oversight on high-value claims, variations, and negotiations.
- Review and approve entitlement justifications, documentation, and claims strategies.
- Collaborate with legal advisors and project directors on dispute resolution and risk mitigation.
- Oversee claims registers and ensure transparency, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Monitor claims trends and drive initiatives to reduce recurring issues.
- Represent the organisation in executive-level contract negotiations, arbitrations, and external discussions.
- Mentor senior claims leaders and build organisational capacity in commercial and claims management.
- Provide executive oversight on high-value claims, variations, and negotiations.
