Director of Architecture Design Review

Responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of all architectural design review activities across large-scale development projects. This role ensures that architectural outputs align with organisational vision, master plans, and sustainability goals while meeting regulatory and quality standards. The Executive Director manages senior architects, oversees external consultants, and drives innovation, governance, and stakeholder engagement to achieve world-class project outcomes.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred).
Experience: Extensive senior leadership experience in architectural design review and governance.
Skills: Executive leadership, strategic planning, stakeholder management, and architectural standards.

- Define and implement the architectural design review strategy, policies, and quality standards.
- Provide leadership and governance across all project stages, from concept to detailed design.
- Lead stakeholder engagement with government authorities, strategic partners, and internal executives to align design outcomes with regulatory and organisational goals.
- Oversee evaluation and approval of architectural design submissions, ensuring consistency, innovation, and compliance with master plans.
- Mentor and guide senior architects and consultants, strengthening organisational expertise in design leadership.
- Coordinate integration of architectural design with engineering, planning, and delivery teams to ensure feasibility and excellence.
- Represent the organisation in high-level forums, promoting architectural innovation, sustainability, and design leadership.
- Manage risk and executive decision-making for complex design challenges.
- Ensure accountability for quality, timelines, and budget across all design review processes.
